What are the acceleration detection methods for rolling linear guide pairs?

Time:2026-07-15

In high-speed situations, acceleration and velocity have become important performance parameters for the operation of the rolling linear guide pair. Its acceleration and velocity detection must be carried out on a dedicated test bench, and the sensors used are mainly accelerometers.

When testing acceleration, the acceleration sensor can be directly attached to the tested slider or fixedly connected to the testing rack of the slider. The detection content is divided into two types: 1. The change of acceleration during the back and forth movement of the slider; 2. The maximum acceleration of the slider during motion.

The detection conditions for slider acceleration need to ensure that there is no vibration, corrosive medium, or strong electromagnetic field interference around the test bench. The specific test operation steps are as follows:

1. Fix according to the requirements of the guide rail, use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts according to the standard value, and control the tightening torque of the guide rail within the specified range.

2. Before the test, debug the test bench to ensure that the sliding block moves smoothly, the sensor works reliably, and the test software runs normally and correctly.

3. Turn on the motor to move the slider and detect the acceleration of the guide rail pair.

4. By processing the data, the acceleration that can be achieved during the movement of the slider can be obtained.
