The current status of detection methods for rolling linear guide pairs
The detection of commonly used rolling linear guide pairs is mainly divided into two types: manual measurement and automated measurement.
1. Manual measurement, first place the measuring table holder on a flat plate, and fix the rolling linear guide pair to be measured on the detection platform with screw holes.
When measuring items related to the upper plane, the measuring head is placed at the designated position on the top surface of the slide for measurement and reading.
When measuring items related to the side, the gauge holder should be close to the reference plane of the rolling linear guide, and the measuring head should be placed at the designated position on the side of the slide for measurement and reading.
When the testing item is related to the length of the guide rail, the slide seat slides on the guide rail at a certain distance, and the meter stand moves at the same distance for testing.
2. There are two commonly used methods for automated measurement:
One is laser collimator detection: fix the guide rail pair on the platform, place the reflector on the top surface of the slide, and move the slide for detection. This method has high requirements for equipment and environment, and is difficult to widely use.
The second method is to fix the workpiece on the platform and install displacement sensors on the slide to detect the change of the measured point relative to the reference plane during the movement of the slide, or to use the extended part of the installation surface as the reference plane for detection of the rolling linear guide pair. This method is more practical compared to the previous method, but it also has high environmental requirements.
