Linear guide pairs must have good lubrication function. If used without lubrication, the rolling parts will accelerate wear, which will shorten their service life. According to the requirements of the equipment, the guide rail pair can be lubricated with lubricating oil or grease.

Lubricants have the following functions:

(1) Effectively reduce friction between functional components to prevent coking and resource loss.

(2) The oil film formed on the rolling surface can reduce the stress acting on the surface and extend the rolling service life.

(3) Covering the surface of the guide rail pair with an oil film can prevent rusting.

The LGR series rolling linear guide pair of Kate Precision Machinery not only has oil nozzles installed at the front or rear end of the slider for oil injection, but also has oil holes on the side and top surfaces of the end cover for lateral and upward oil injection.

According to the customer's requirements for the installation status of the guide rail (such as horizontal, inclined, vertical, etc.), Kate Precision will provide different installation status processing methods to ensure that the grooves of the slider can be fully lubricated.

If oil is injected from the side or above, a metal needle with a diameter of 0.8mm must be used to preheat and puncture the oil hole at the designated position. Do not use a drill bit to pass through the oil hole to avoid contamination of the oil passage by debris. In addition, an O-ring is required when using the top oil hole.
