Roller linear guide is a high-precision transmission component, which is widely used in heavy-duty machine tools and precision instrument professions; It can be said that roller linear guides are specifically developed for machine tools and industrial robotic arms. It is mainly composed of four parts: slider, guide rail, roller, and reversing device. The functions of each part are as follows:

1. Sliding block

The slider is a functional component used to connect the moving parts of the machine tool on the roller linear guide. When an external load is applied to the roller guide, the skirt of the slider will expand and deform, which will have a significant impact on the stiffness of the roller guide.

2. Guide rail

The guide rail is a fixed component used to connect the roller linear guide rail with the bed base, and the straightness of the guide rail is one of the main factors affecting its operating accuracy. At regular intervals, there will be threaded holes on the guide rail, and the spacing and depth between the threaded holes will also affect the operating accuracy of the roller guide rail.

3. Roller roller

Roller is the moving component of roller linear guide rail. Roller is the smaller part in the guide rail and also the load-bearing component of the guide rail. Its force deformation is the main factor affecting the stiffness of the guide rail.

4. Reversing device

The function of the reversing device is to reverse the movement of the rollers, allowing them to circulate infinitely. Together with the sealing ring, the reversing device seals the slider to prevent dust from entering the interior of the slider raceway. The important link in the roller circulation circuit of the reversing device is one of the main sources of frictional resistance, oscillation, and noise in the guide rail.
