Vibration analysis of roller linear guide pair
Vibration and lifespan are both important performance indicators of roller linear guide pairs. With the continuous improvement of material quality, design technology, and manufacturing accuracy, the dynamic characteristics of roller linear guide pairs have become important indicators for measuring their performance.
According to the different ways of vibration excitation, the vibration of roller linear guide pairs can be divided into the following three situations:
1. It comes from the vibration inside the guide rail, which is caused by machining errors such as waviness, roughness, and some local defects.
2. It is an external disturbance, such as unstable external working conditions and significant load changes.
3. It comes from its inherent structural properties, including strong resonance at natural frequencies, such as the passing frequency of rollers.
Although the structure of the roller linear guide pair looks simple and contains few parts, due to the high precision required, the contact and collision process between the parts of the roller linear guide pair after operation is very complex, which will directly affect the vibration of the guide rail.
