Performance of Micro Linear Guides
Most of the processing materials for micro linear guides are made of stainless steel, mainly because compared to other materials, stainless steel has a higher strength coefficient, after all, micro linear guides need to be used as a heavy main force point. If the material is not hard enough, it is likely to cause damage to the components during the processing. Especially in humid and hot environments, it is more likely to cause rust between the micro guide rail and the ball, so it is necessary to pay attention to the regular care and maintenance of the micro guide rail.
The micro linear guide rail has rolling friction, with a friction coefficient of 1/40 of the sliding friction coefficient. In addition, the material surface hardness is high, which can maintain the wear resistance of the guide rail for a long time and maintain the walking accuracy of the working parts. Due to its low frictional resistance, only a small amount of power is needed to move the moving parts. Friction generates minimal frictional heat, allowing moving parts to move at high speeds.
During the maintenance process of micro linear guides, attention should also be paid to the installation of micro guides and installation tools, avoiding the use of cloth or short fiber products. At the same time, attention should be paid to whether the selected tools are standard, so that the micro guides are not damaged.
When the linear guide rail is in operation, the shot put rolls in a raceway made of high-quality alloy steel between the sliding rail and the slider, which is processed by high hardness treatment and dense grinding. The slider easily moves in a high-precision linear motion along the sliding rail by infinite cyclic motion through the return devices at both ends of the slider. Compared with traditional sliding guidance, the friction coefficient of rolling guidance can be reduced to 1/50 of its original value. Due to the greatly reduced starting friction, there is relatively less ineffective motion, making it easy to achieve positioning. In addition, the design of the restraint unit between the slider and the guide rail allows the linear guide rail to bear a certain amount of torque, while also bearing loads in various directions such as up, down, left, and right.
The reverse device is equipped with dust-proof sealed end caps at both ends, which can effectively prevent dust and nitrate from entering the interior of the slider. The lubrication of the linear guide is achieved by injecting lubricant into the oil cup.
