Firstly, it is necessary to use a guide rail protective cover to avoid dust and foreign objects entering the interior of the guide rail as much as possible. If dust enters the interior of the linear guide, it is likely that the inconspicuous dust will cause the linear guide to malfunction.

Because the heat resistance of linear guides is not as good, we need to use them in an environment below 80 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is higher than this, it is likely to damage the plastic end caps on the linear guides. When using a linear guide, if you want to cut the guide yourself, be sure to thoroughly clean the burrs and cutting edges on the cut surface. If not cleaned thoroughly, it will also affect the accuracy of the guide rail's operation.

Another thing worth noting is that if we install the guide rail upside down, we must install a protective device. Because the guide rail is hung upside down, it's okay to say that the end cover of the guide rail is not damaged. However, if it is damaged, it is likely to cause the balls in the guide rail to fall off, resulting in the slider of the guide rail separating from the guide rail.
