Characteristics of linear guide slider
1) High positioning accuracy
When using a linear guide as a guide, due to the rolling friction mode of the linear guide, not only does the friction coefficient decrease to 1/50 of the sliding guide, but the difference between the dynamic friction force and the static friction force also becomes very small. Therefore, when the load platform moves, there will be no slipping phenomenon, which can achieve high positioning accuracy
2) Reducing wear can maintain high precision for a long time
Traditional sliding guides inevitably cause poor platform movement due to oil film backflow, and insufficient lubrication during movement leads to wear on the contact surface of the running track, thereby affecting accuracy. The wear of the rolling guide is very small, so the equipment can maintain high precision for a long time.
3) Suitable for high-speed motion and significantly reduces the driving power required for equipment
Due to the very low friction force during the movement of linear guides, only a small force is needed to move the load platform, especially when the equipment operates in a regular reciprocating motion, which can significantly reduce the power loss of the equipment. And due to its low heat generated by friction, it is suitable for high-speed motion.
4) Easy to assemble and interchangeable
When assembling, it is only necessary to mill or grind the assembly surface of the machine tool's grinding track, and fix the guide rail and slider on the machine tool with specific torque according to the steps, which can reproduce the high precision during machining. Sliding guide rails are time-consuming, and when the accuracy of the guide rails is poor, they need to be reworked. Linear guide tool
There is interchangeability, and the guide rail, slider, or even linear guide rail group can be replaced separately, allowing the equipment to obtain high-precision guidance from scratch.
5) Simple lubrication structure
Insufficient lubrication of sliding linear guides can cause direct friction and damage to the machine tool due to contact surface metal. However, sufficient lubrication of sliding guides is not easy, and it is necessary to drill holes at appropriate positions on the machine tool to supply oil. The linear guide has already been equipped with an oil nozzle on the slider, which can be directly filled with grease with an oil injector or connected to a dedicated oil pipe joint to automatically lubricate the oil supply machine.
